Merrimac 1950s wool feather hat One Size

Manufacturing hats since 1838 Merrimac hat Company became famous for their formal hats until closing in 1970. This is an adorable hat in deep purple wool felt with a shimmering pom and feather. I've never seen two Merrimac hats alike, but I'm sure there must be. Great vintage condition with one light colored small mark on top. See pictures.
