Metal Cast Iron Toy Painted Horses and Soldiers American Revolution and British. My mother gave these metal/cast iron figures to her grandson. She put them in the box I am including in this listing but I do not think all (or possibly any) originally came in the box. Five piece total. The Revolutionary war soldier mounted on the brown horse seems to be a different maker than the other three figures that are British themed. The Revolutionary War soldier's right arm has broken off (pics 3 and 4.). The arm piece is included and It may be possible to repair with glue or welding. The reigns of the brown horse have broken off (2 pieces) but are included (pic 5). There is a stamped name or manufacturer on the bottom base of the brown horse (pic 6) but I cannot make out what it says. The black horse and his mount of a knight in silver armor is in excellent, damage-free condition. The fifth piece is a guard in British attire holding a pointed spear. Its base is pictured in pic 12 and there are no markings on it. The guard is in excellent, damage free condition. The box that is included has wear. Please see pics for information. Again, it may not have anything to do with some or all of the 5 figures. Approximate measurements: British guard: 3 3/8" height of brown horse-base to top of horse head: 2 3/4" hight of black horse: 2 1/2"
