Published 1958 by The Metropolitan Museum of Art, this book features mint green hard binding with illustrated label and black and red stamped lettering on the front cover and spine, illustrations with descriptions. Contains 12 prints - plates by Vincent Van Gogh, by Albert Pinkham Ryder, by master artists including El Greco, Georges Rouault, John Martin, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Simone Martini, Peter Paul Rubens, and Master of the Saint Francis Legend. Stored in a protective envelope inside the front cover, review questions and a list of titles of artwork included in the portfolio (see photos). This book measures approximately 10 x 13 in. Prints measure approximately 9 3/8 x 12 1/8 in. Very good condition. Only flaw is the bottom spine is torn about 3/4 inches. (see photos and full description).
