@picklebutt1 thanks for your question. I went back and looked closer plus added another photo. It is smooth to the touch, but you can feel something deeper. I am wondering if this was a manufacturer defect.

@msindjones thanks so much. Certainly can be a manufacturing defect. Might very well be a scrape that they just glazed over. Hell of a lot better than a crack
