aidacoronado @bilesm01 43/46 in order to embroider the traditional work and have a great "flow" in the fabric, not hanging, and Mexican embroidery can be appreciated, it should be cotton or a good (very) cotton blend, this is not stretchy nor see through. is different than Ukranian Rusian Japanese Hindu embroidery work all this also embroider in cotton or blends but stitches are different so fabric hangs different.

aidacoronado @ellaerma of course! And as with any other piece of hand embroidery the more you care for them The more they last, I have customers wearing their dresses 5 years or more after shipping, intact, because they prefer dry cleaning services to preserve detailing.
