@m_e224 I feel like it would be ok for an 8.5 without socks. If you want to wear socks though I think it would be snug.

I feel like a detective, because looking closely at the pics, there are two different pairs shown in your listing. One 38 and one 39. If you compare the soles, you can see that the wood is different and that the unique grainlines and markings are not the same. I think the other person sent you the wrong size. Is your pair a 38 or a 39?
