rn8699 I went through an excel nursing program too. The only way to do it! Mine took a tad bit longer than you. Congratulations! What setting do you work in?? I retired in 2004 after 30 years. But still get my journals and try to keep up on information. I worked dialysis, labor & delivery/postpartum, ER, ICU, oral surgery. Loved every minute!!!

honihive @rn8699 that’s awesome. I accepted a job a few weeks ago in L&D! I’m super excited because my only reason for going back to school was to become a midwife. So, L&D is my ultimate!!!

rn8699 Woohoo!!! I absolutely loved L&D, it has its moments but all jobs do. I still see patients out and they still remember me by name. Wish I could remember all their names. The one thing I wish I had done was to keep a journal of what I did, pt A had this diagnoses, outcome etc. I think it would be interesting to go back and read. Good luck it’s worth it!!
