ajyank1 @graceandgrit1 when measured from the bottom side of the middle of the handle to the bag below - the opening ranges from 7 inches to 8 inches. I measured it the first time when it was laying flat and it was 7 inches. I hung it on a door knob and measured again and it was 8 inches. The leather is not stiff and the hobo style doesn’t allow for an exact measurement. If you put heavy things in the bag the opening may become a little larger. Hope this helps. 😊

graceandgrit1 I bought the bag from someone else for 125. One ink spot otherwise perfect like yours. Not sure I’m even going to like it due to the snug fit under the arm so if I love it I will buy your too. I love red quality bags so once it arrives if I love it will buy your as a back up.
