Whimsical and eye-catching design in this signed teapot, ‘Struttin Down 5th Ave,’ by American ceramist Michael Lambert. Vintage 1980s-1990s post-modern anthropomorphic design. Working in Santa Cruz, California, ceramist Michael Lambert style was influenced by 1940’s animation and 1960’s poster art, contributing to his lively and iconic ‘dancing’ aesthetic.
