It is an all-over black and white plaid print. I believe it would be considered gingham, but I am not 100% sure. I do think it would be semi-sheer on depending on what you wear underneath. I do believe it is supposed to be oversized some. Please review the measurements below to guarantee it fits how you would like. I can not guarantee fit. I do not see any flaws with the blouse. At the max, it might be tighter on and make the buttons gap some. Length from armpit to hem is about 17.5 inches. Length from the top of the shoulder to the hem is about 26.75 inches in the front and about 29 inches in the back.
