Michal Golan Vintage Brooch Pendant w semiprecious stones

Older creation by Michal Golan. It can be worn as a Pendant or as a Brooch. Some wear on the back, pin mechanism is in good working order. This piece has been in my collection for several years. Measure approximantly 2¼” x 1¼”. Michal was born in Haifa, Israel and came to the US in her twenties to study art. She began designing jewelry and selling it at craft fairs in order to support herself while completing a Masters degree in Studio Art at NYU. Demand for her jewelry quickly grew, and in 1982 she launched Michal Golan Jewelry.
