Absolutely Beautiful Summer Flowers Mid Century Italian Studio Pottery Watering Can. This is a terrific example of the work being done in Italy in the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Hand painted Italian Maiolica depicting gorgeous Flowers over bright orange faience glaze. The bottom is stamped Italy with a period. Size: 7 inches tall 8 inch length While the artist has not been positively identified it is in the style and quality of designers of that era such as Aldo Londi, Bitossi, Bertoncello, Fratelli Fancciulacci, Guido Gambone, Marcello Fantoni, and Bagni.
