Mid-Century Glass & Chrome Appetizer Dish (small)

Ever wonder what to serve olives, cornichons and other nibbles on? Well, our (great?) grandmothers knew! Circa late 40s/early 50s, the glass is in perfect shape and the chrome has the very slightest wear on it (see the spot on the rim). Wood accents. The proprietor of the very fashionable antique store in NYC that I got this from said it was Danish in origin, but I'm no expert. I just liked it. Posting it here because, alas, I am moving. Otherwise, this would stay with me. Price is firm.
