misfitsmischief @sophistycat the measurement straight across from bottom seam of the band on the left side to the right side (since it curves I am measuring from point to point straight across) is 18.5” I am not quite sure how to give you the thickness. It’s not sheer by any means. It’s woven so it’s thick. It has a lining under it as well. Can you explain

sophistycat @ihimmel12, I just wanted a rough idea regarding whether the material was winter or fall-spring. I think it's going to be too small for me though if you are saying the hip is 37." I have 43" hips and 30" waist. I may be misunderstanding you though.

misfitsmischief @sophistycat it depends on how high you wear it I guess. If it sits higher then the band is entirely around your waist and not on your hips at all. I was much smaller in these photos which is why it sits on my hips but it is really meant to be worn higher up which makes the flowy part hang over your hips.
