Mid-length dress by Guess, size 6 (tag says 2)

Mid-length black and red dress by Guess. Pretty bar winged neckline. Sleeveless. Triangle cut out above the naval. Shirt split on left aide. Length hits right above the knee. Stretchy material. Says size 2. But It fits on a size 6. I cannot explain why but this is the case.
