This beautiful antique bowl is a product made by Z S and C. Zeh Scherzer Company, Bavaria circa 1880 1918. The shape with the scalloped edge is called Mignon. The beautiful roses on the bottom of the bowl features a large white rose with other large, dark pink roses and leaves. And thus the pattern named White Rose. The transferware has been over painted with white paint about quarter inch of the edge of the bowl has gold trimmed. The bottom is stamped with maker's mark and pattern name. This beauty is free of any chips. Nick's cracks crazing. There is gold paint from the original manufacturing of this piece on the bottom of the bowl. See my photos. Size 8 3/4 by 2 inches. Condition just a little wear on the gilding but overall very nice condition. Non smoking pet free home.
