It is diagonal at the bottom. Then the outer layer that you see falls on one side at the knee and the other side below the knee. The material is stretchy with some ruching at the body part. So you can almost stretch it to be lower or use the rushing to make it slightly shorter.
I’d say overall it’s between a midi dress and knee length dress. It would also depend on how tall you are.
