hi what grade are these pearls?
fortrove
@simoneshuman hello Simone. Sorry I am not a pearl expert but I can tell you Mikimoto only uses the best quality natural pearls. You won’t be disappointed. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon! - Timothy from Fortrove

@fortrove Mimimoto uses 5 different grade pearls and none of them are natural - they are all cultured. If you could get back to me as which grade that would be tremendously helpful. A1, A, A+, AA, AAA
fortrove
@simoneshuman *naturally cultured, lol
Sorry I don’t know enough about pearls to grade the pearls for you

Are the backs still original and not replacement
fortrove
@mychua1234 Yes the backs are 100% original. Stamped 750 and "M" in a shell as the hallmark. 100% original Mikimoto.

@mychua1234 We do consider offers, all year around. Fortrove.com

“A quality of Mikimoto” is not Mikimoto though. This is Mikimoto. We do consider all reasonable offers. Looking forward to hearing back from you. - Timothy from Fortrove

@mychua1234 Still waiting to hear from you...

@fortrove they weren’t saying A pair of mikimoto like earrings, they were saying Mikimoto GRADE A (from Mik’s A / A+ / AA / AAA / Reserve grading system).
Currently 7.5-8mm A grade Mikimoto’s are $1100 brand new & direct, cheaper from lux retailers when you catch a sale. AAA 8-8.5 are $3550, but 95% of Mikimotos in the wild are A, 99% either A or A+, with AA AAA & Reserve accounting for less than 1%.

@fortrove
I’m interested, but you’re probably consider my offer to be a lowball as it would be less than the ~$750ish I could buy these brand new gray-market (meaning authentic but no warranty from Mikimoto). Assuming you don’t have paperwork from Mikimoto showing they’re better than A or at least a recent PSL/GIA report with Xray analysis of the nachre.
