Military metal and bar with original box. I rescued this from the countryside house.
Many of the jewelry items listed are antique, vintage, and/or pre-owned. Items have had a life before I found them. Items may show evidence of that previous life; signs of wear, dents, scratches, oxidation, or broken stones, etc. I strive to be accurate & transparent in the descriptions of these pieces.
I'm not a gemologist. I choose pieces based on their overall aesthetic & how well they accessorize. I try my best to accurately describe the stones in my jewelry items, but cannot absolutely guarantee them.
I want the true age of the pieces to be represented, so I do not perform any type of cleaning or polishing. If the item is oxidized when I acquire it, that is precisely how you will receive it.

Hi Michelle, truly not trying to be a 'know-it-all". Just simply relaying info. This is a mix n match of US Army awards. The ribbon on top is an AAM (Army Achievement Medal) and the mini-ribbon and full medal are ARCOMs (Army Commendation Medal). To put their importance in some kind of context, I received an AAM for simply maxing a Physical Training (PT) test. My first ARCOM was received for saving another soldiers life. Hope this finds you well

@alclaymer Thank you for the info. I didn't know for sure. I seen this old house that looked like it was going to fall over. I was nervous about going in, but I did. I found alot of metals, I thought they should get to see the light of day again. I wish there was a name on them, I would find the family and return them.

@ancient_relic No, no Thank You. I am a fan of your closet, seriously.
The medals were a great find! I agree that they shouldn't be forgotten in an abandoned house. They should be with someone that appreciates them and the person that earned them.
