Mini Dress Handmade Mini Dress Red and Blue

Sweet early 1970s mini dress in a bright red and blue block color polyester. The dress is a size small to medium. Made by a master dressmaker but looks never worn. she often made sample pieces for customers to view or to try a technique. Short, just off-the-shoulder sleeves, a fit and flare cut, would be cute with gogo boots or Mary Janes. Possibly made with the bicentennial in mind. Patriotic red and blue with red thread used to contrast on the blue polyester. Measurements, lay flat unless otherwise stated: pit to pit measurement is 18" shoulder seam to seam in back is 14" across the armhole opening is 8" Waist is 17" Hip is 21” hem is a 28" overall length is 37" The woman who wore this dress would have had a beehive or teased her hair high with a flip at the bottom.
