Another vintage piece from mom. This is a beautiful blonde mink pillbox hat. A pill-box hat is a small, low brimless female hat with a round or oval cylindrical crown. This one is trimmed in a satin base so it really gives the pill box puffy look.Mom took care of her belongings, and this was stored in a cool closet away from everything else. It also comes with the original box from Winkleman's where this was purchased in the 1960's. This is at the height of popularity for the pill box hat.
