Miriam Haskell Signed Vintage Jeweled Gold Tone Bouquet In A Vase Brooch 2"X1.5" This beautiful vintage brooch is by the iconic Miriam Haskell, a famous jeweler known for affordable, high quality jewelry with intricate designs. It is likely mid-century based on the signature on the back. Research indicates that from the 1970's, the pieces were signed with an oval including the Miriam Haskell name, which is what is found on this brooch. The brooch is a vase full to overflowing with jeweled flowers. The brooch is gold tone but the metal is unknown. It appears to include clear rhinestones or crystals and faux pearls. Many of the jewels are attached using a fine gold tone metal wire. There is some tarnishing or discoloration and very possibly missing jewels. Some settings are loose and it would benefit from some repairs. The clasp is a hinged locking safety catch and it appears to close securely. This brooch measures approx. 2"X1.5"X0.5". It is pre-owned, of course, as well as vintage, and flaws are noted above. Despite the flaws, it is an unusual, impressive piece. I was unable to find another just like it.
