Zipper with a small clasp on top, runs full length in the back of the dress, for easy removal. Fushia floral pattern, in Smooth satin, Cotton, lycra, polyester mix, very silky to the touch, with puckered ruffled texture. The dress is lined inside with a white, cotton, built-in bra. I bought this for an event that I didn't end up attending. Beautiful dress
