Mod Yellow 1960’s Cotton Ribbed Dress Swimsuit Coverup Elizabeth Stewart Catalina Wood Buttons Elisabeth Stewart was the daughter of Catalina founder E. W. Stewart. In 1956 (some sources say 1955) her father sold Catalina for which she had worked. She then founded Elisabeth Stewart Swimwear along with her husband and two brothers. This is a rare dress style swimsuit cover-up or jacket from the designer, there is a stain and a white spot as photographed is also missing one of the original wooden buttons.  The items I sell are between 40-120 years old. They will have signs of wear.
