Modernist Joaquin Tinta Ecuador Large Silver & Green Stone Earrings Mid-century

Incredible Vintage Earrings from the Taller Tinta (Tinta workshop) in Ecuador. Created by well-known artisan Joaquin Tinta, who was most active during the Mid-century period. These sculptural earrings are large, heavy, and stunning, with great swooping lines and interesting deep green stones. They are in very good condition, but they show some wear. This is normal, as they are vintage. I'm not certain of the stone-- I feel like they are either a malachite or green jasper, but if you know otherwise, let me know! Metal is 900 silver (not quite "sterling"), which makes them a bit stronger. Length--2 1/4 inches Width-- 1 inch. An amazing gift for yourself or someone else!
