TLDR Even if the year has past I use these as a hybrid of bullet journal + everyday carry + commonplace book. My secret lazy hack: I do an index section in the back and I use the dates (the individual lined pages) as the page number notation. So for example if in the back index section I have a section dedicated to "Medical" and I had listed under it 3:10, 5:25, and 10:06 that means I can find the notes I took during doctor visits on pages of March 10, May 25, and October 06. I find it much more convenient and I was never one to keep up with writing in a diary everyday. Caution to fountain pen users: There may be some bleed through if you write with a wet ink.
