This is an EUC Mollie Parnis Vintage 1950s A-Line Damask Jacquard 3/4 Length Sleeve Midi Dress. This beautiful dress features rich champagne cream colored damask jacquard fabric, 3/4 length sleeves, rounded neckline, A-line fit, and ornate silver embroidery with stunning Swarovski crystals and beads. This showstopping rare piece was made by iconic luxury designer Mollie Parnis, who started designing under her own label in 1940. She was well known for dressing the presidential First Ladies including Mamie Eisenhower, Betty Ford, Lady Bird Johnson, and 4 Kennedys! Based off the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU) label, it appears that this dress was made in the 1950s. This dress was originally available at Saks Fifth Avenue. This incredible dress would make a great addition to any historical fashion collection, or for a special occasion. In overall great condition! There are some flaws in including a few spots missing a rhinestone (pictured), and some inconsistencies in the fabric (pictured). No Size Label, Fits like a US Women's Size Small No Care Label, feels like natural fiber fabric possibly even a silk blend. The embroidery thread feels like it is metal rich.
