Monet gold and black “Blacktop” stud earrings

Vintage small round flat gold stud earrings with a black stripe midway, by Monet. Of course, when the earring is worn,it can be turned so that the black line points in any direction, not just obviously horizontal. Designed with surgical steel posts, they are considered hypoallergenic; the steel posts are fashionably covered by a gold back. See photos for clear views of the front and back as well as the size.
