Monique Lhuillier Platinum Collection ivory ruffle wedding dress

This was my DREAM dress! It is absolutely stunning. I purchased it from a lovely seller on Still White. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our wedding event d/t medical reasons. I have only tried the dress on 1x and it remains in the beautiful preservation box. Initial seller: "Stunning Monique Lhuillier of the Platinum Collection.The ballgown silhouette is magnificent.The corset is structured and fitted, it emphasized the bust and slims the waist with the contrasting full skirt. There is a lot of material for the skirt and a beautiful ruffle train. The style and material made traveling convenient as it did not need to be steamed." Personally, I can second this statement. When it came out of the preservation box, it was perfect. Original seller (and I) wear a street size 4. The style of the dress is forgiving. Cups were sewn into the bust but can be adjusted to your preference. The bust was closer a 33-34" However, the original listing was marked as a 35" bust. With that said, the top has flexibility b/c it hits at the natural waist and skirt is full. Adding a deeper back V will allow for more room. NONE of the skit has been taken out. The original seller was able to creatively hem it up to 5'4" with 2-3" heels. At full length, it could fit someone 6' with shoes.The dress has only been worn indoors and has been professionally cleaned: Note that with even the best professional wedding gown cleaning some of the material lightly sewn on may come a little loose (ex. label)
