Monique Lhullier Severine Dress and Veil in Silk White/Nude (Street Size 2)

PRICE: I paid $7,738.09 total (pre-alterations/tax). The veil was $1,725 and the dress $5,490 (see pics). Price is for both but I'm open to selling separately. HISTORY: Both ordered new from Monique Lhullier via Alexia's Bridal Boutique in NC. The dress, a 4, was altered by Alexia's reputable in-house seamstress (taken in at waist + straps, length removed, + added French bustle + push up cups) to fit my 5'2" and 30d/31.5"B-24.5"W-34"H frame while wearing 80 mm (3.2") heels. The size is now closer to a 2 and should work for someone 5'5" in a flatter shoe. Someone with a slightly larger bust could probably fit in it since the padding was removed. COLOR/MATERIAL: "Silk white” (bright ivory) Chantilly lace bodice and appliques trail down onto a tulle skirt w/ “nude” silk lining. Veil perfectly matches the dress. CONDITION: Couture cleaner J. Scheer in NYC cleaned + preserved both (arrived there <2 weeks after my 2023 wedding. It is in near-perfect condition- light discoloration of the horsehair inner layer (not visible). The veil is in mint condition and on a metal comb. Only handled once with gloves since cleaning. Both stored in climate controlled room in box sent by cleaner. FEEL: So light for an a-line/ball gown! I have sensitive skin and didn't find the lace itchy. It also pulls your waist in slightly without making you feel compressed. I ate a lot and was still comfortable thanks to the cut of the waist and skirt. Feel free to ask any questions or make me an offer!
