Thick enough to be worn alone as a winter jacket here in AZ but certainly not a snow jacket. Incredibly soft inner lining for a warm, snuggle fest of a wear. Seriously so comfortable and luxurious feeling, the lining is one of those you just want to keep running your hands over. The outside is soft too, but not as soft as inside. Contrast between the lighter outside and the inside which drapes in the front to make a nice accent color. Has pockets and gorgeous embroidered detailing around the hem on sleeves and coat front.
