Can you give an idea of what size 42 means? This looks amazing, but must be a small, with a pit to pit measure shown? And is there any stretch at all? Thank you!

a size Italian 42 is a size 6. small.
added pit to pit 15"
not stretchable. ( cotton 80% polyester 20%)
