@cooldaddy out of curiosity I looked up the size difference between D and E because I had no idea. You may already know the answer but, just in case, it's 1/4'' at the widest point. Not a whole lot.

@kjhendrix4 I normally wear 11.5 Med but with inserts a size 12 D my feet slides around in a Wide and mr feet blister

@cooldaddy I feel you there. In the Army, for long marches, I'd wear my nylon dress socks with the OD Green wool socks over them & avoid blisters. Not ideal obviously but, it worked lol.
