Moose Crossing The Clark Fork

Acrylic on canvas matted to 11 x14 inches. kAPUart Studio Montana. I never forget a face to face meeting with a moose. I was eight the first time, while forging a stream in the rain, mosquito bitten, listenening to my little brother sob. We were on vacation in Canada and had big stringer full of fish, so I was happy. I swear that was the biggest moose I have ever encountered....but as my friend Carol says,"when I was small, Christmas trees were tall".
