crush128 @sweettemily The packaging is not what James Charles shows on his YouTube channel. Please correct me if I’m wrong. This is a gift for my daughter and I didn’t realize until she told me that you could only get the authentic ones at Morphe and Ulta. I see from his YouTube channel that the 39A palette is a Holiday collection. Is that right? If so, it has gold on it snd no ingredients listed on the back.

sweettemily @crush128 this palette was originally released as a holiday collection in 2017 by morphe and the packaging for that 2017 holiday collection did include the gold on the packaging, however since then morphe has release the 39A palette that is their standard packaging which is how I bought it back in September from the morphe website and how it was purchased for me as a gift this December.. Morphe no longer sells the 39A palette with the gold holiday collection packaging,

crush128 @sweettemily I didn’t realize that you bought the palette directly from Morphe. My only concern is the back packaging that is real doesn’t list ingredients. Those are typically the fakes. Go ahead and send.

sweettemily @crush128 if you would like the gold packaging you would have to buy it secondhand as the packaging was the only thing limited addition about this palette. However any palette you buy with the gold packaging will be 1yr+ old. There are a few of those listed here on poshmark but they are listed much higher than retail value. If you want to cancel this purchase let me know.

crush128 @sweettemily Honestly, I’m clueless. I didn’t realize there were fakes out there when I purchased this. I have been online trying to learn what I can. The one thing that I did pick up, was that his outside packaging on the back only has the company name on the bottom left of the box. They specifically said that the one that lists ingredients isn’t the real one. Does your box have the ingredients?
