MOTHER's twist on the iconic Insider Crop features a high rise, bootcut and chewed-up step hem detail in a cropped length. Cut from semi-rigid denim, Mentally Elsewhere is a light blue wash with subtle whiskering. These are never worn, new with tags.
This denim has good stretch, but I wear this brand often and find this pair runs at least a size SMALL. I suggest sizing up. I’m selling a new, marked size 28. I added photos with a tape measure along the waistband to help figure out sizing too.

@jamieharris134 hi! I usually wear a 29 in Mother now and this pair in 29 isn’t close to being able to close over my hips. I think going one size up you may be able to close, probably would be a snug/tight fit. I think two sizes up if you like more room.

@jenjaco1 can you post a pic of them lying flat with a tape measure across the waste also? I’m really torn between the sizes… other people were posting this style as true to size but it wasn’t this wash so I wonder if that has something to do with it?? Sorry 🤣

@jamieharris134 no worries, I want you to find the right size! It’s this wash that runs small, because I have another Insider step hem pair in a green that’s true to size! I just uploaded images with a measuring tape, great idea. These are 98% cotton but they feel softer with more stretch than some of my other Mother pairs that are 98% cotton (softer than my Rider pairs). I think a description some stores use for this denim is “semi-rigid,” a high cotton % fabric that still has some stretch
