Mount Vernon/George Washington 1965 School Book and MAPS for teaching

Cornerstones of Freedom School Book published in 1965 by Children's Press. It focuses on the history of the Mount Vernon residence on the Potomac and how it evolved during George Washington's life. This was an actual school book that had a child's name and Room# penciled inside on of the covers, which has been erased. It is accompanied by several great teaching maps of the States of Virginia and West Virginia; a map of the District of Colombia in Washington DC, and even a blow up map for Georgetown.
