Wear alone or as a shell over fleece jacket or a vest. CONDUIT waterproof and windproof but breathable nylon fabric with polyester reinforcements protect the shell from sharp rock and ice. The extra-long, waterproof Simplex pit zips provide maximum ventilation for the CoolMax mesh-lined torso, and the Welded Waistcord reduces wear and tear in an area prone to abrasion. A powder skirt (with gripper elastic and snap) keeps snow from your inner layers. It has a Velcro front storm flap and adjustable Velcro sleeves. The drawcord adjustable Ergo Hood keeps your head covered and your vision clear. You can access the zippered Napoleon pocket without opening the front zipper, there’s an inner zippered security pocket, an inner elastic-top pocket keeps a quart-sized water bottle from freezing, and fleece-lined hand pockets with Velcro storm flaps warm up cold fingers.
