Mountain Hardwear x Cole Haan - Alpinstad Down Jacket

Cole Haan collaborated with Mountain Hardwear to design and produce a number their outerwear pieces. This particular down jacket was produced by Mountain Hardwear for Cole Haan’s Winter 2015 line. Mountain Hardwear re-released this same jacket for their Fall 2024 line. I recently purchased and compared the re-released model to the original, and aside from the removal of Cole Haan printed branding and style of zipper pulls, the materials, construction, and fit is exactly the same. The current model found on Mountain Hardwear’s website is called the Alpinstad and retails for $250. For those familiar with Mountain Hardwear’s jackets, I’d describe the Alpinstad as a combination of their two best sellers. It combines the category leading warmth to weight ratio of their Ghost Whisperer jacket combined with the standard everyday fit and durability of their Stretchdown jacket.
