Movado Watch Vintage RARE

RARE SPORT MODEL... THERE IS ONLY ONE OTHER "SPORT" TEMPOMATIC LISTED ON EBAY(see last two pictures) Beautiful Vintage MOVADO TEMPOMATIC 'SPORT' Wrist Watch. From the late 1940s to early 50s. A swiss 17j movement in a François Borgel stainless steel case. This is a 'bumper automatic' but still needs a bit of winding to start it up. Running and keeping good time. I was told this had been refurbished, including movement cleaning/adjusting, replacing the crown, and some light case polishing. The polishing is most evident on the decagonal caseback. Clean Acrylic crystal, stainless steel case with gold capped lugs and matching gold crown. Dial is silver with gold applied indexes and numbers. Gold lumed hands and a red tipped sweep second hand. The watch comes on a used but nice brown cordovan strap. Watch is 34mm wide, excluding the crown by almost 40mm lug to lug. In very good running condition. Some patina to the dial and minor case scratches as you'd expect. A very nice early Movado. Shipped promptly and carefully. Questions welcome.
