jaclynwelsh I know nothing about making coffee I just moved into my first apartment and was using my late grandmas coffee percolator that's probably 40 years old and makes hot coffee but I'd unplug it wait for it to cool down and then have like 7 cups worth.it busted on me yesterday.i usually drink iced coffee but on occasion I or a guest will want hot.The percolator used regular coffee grounds but I love Kcups and want something where I can use those especially bc I love hot cocoa and have Kpods for that.

jaclynwelsh This machine is on a lot of the top lists and I k ow there are machines from other brands where you can use Kpods. does this machine make hot coffee as Well? can you use the kpods with it? do you think this would be a good option for me?

inez010601 @jaclynwelsh sorry I never saw these comments! This does make hot coffee, it’s just advised to do over ice if you want iced coffee. It doesn’t take k-cups only ground coffee. I’d be happy to drop the price if you’re interested

jaclynwelsh @inez010601 oh wow I must’ve posted this three years ago when I moved in bc after the percolator broke I did buy this used from someone else not understanding that “iced coffee makers” come out cold. It was too limited I ended up giving it away and not long after that on a fluke I got a Ninja Coffee Bar CF097 from an Uber driver for free who was about to throw it out! I love it but it doesn’t directly take pods either and is way too big for my small kitchen.

jaclynwelsh @inez010601 So right now I’m looking for something new- I love the Ninja Pods and Grounds Single Serve and Ninja DualBrew- they are shorter than the current Ninja I have but still pretty tall. I also like the Bella VersaBrew in pink. I am disabled don’t drive and live alone so I rely on online shopping; In the end it’ll come down to whatever i find online that fits the bill, even if it’s temporary (I’m hoping to move around the spring). But I appreciate you getting back to me lol!
