km_callahan1 @linmp1031 ..I used to do animal rescue, too, when I lived in upstate NY (my home town). I know exactly what you're saying about the before/after! This little kitty here didn't live very long. The people who had her before me starved and neglected her. She died of distemper - was very sick when I took her. The people lied and said she had her shots. The vet couldn't save her. I despise animal abusers! It takes nothing to be kind and I just don't understand it! I still think about the animals I couldn't save... Thank you so much for writing, Hun! Text anytime! It's funny, I don't have any clothes in my closet yet, but plenty of dear pets! (Two are laying on me!)🐱❤️🐾✌️.

km_callahan1 @linmp1031 .. Oh, I know, but don't feel bad to say she's cute! I feel bad, too.. That's why I posted her pic. Wish I could save them all. It broke our hearts Bc it took me a while tk get her in, believing she had all her shots. By the time I could hear the hoarseness in her cry it was too late. It made me so mad at those ppl. They had other animals that seemed well cared for, but scapegoated this little one. She was living isolated on a screen porch when I took her. My husband cried, too, when she died even though he didn't want me to know.. Sorry to tell you such a sad story! I guess it's cathartic. 😿

I have lost so many car, dogs, and horses over the years but yet they all still hold a particular special place in my heart! Right now we have 2 miniature Aussies and 1 miniature long haired dock sen! We love them dearly!
