This rare genuine stone from Mt. Vesuvius was in a collectors inventory for over 50 years. Mining at Mt. Vesuvius ended over 100 years ago. Vesuvianite 1.50 Ct Cushion Cut accented on either side by Bekily Color Change Garnet from Bekily, Madagascar. The garnet, discovered in the 1990s exhibits spectacular color transformations similar to those of alexandrite. Ring is in Platinum Overlay .925 Sterling Silver Nickel Free (Size 8) TGW 1.78 Cts.
