Mt Washington Burmese Bowl Satin Glass Eight Ruffle Rim Uranium Glowy Antique Victorian This lovely small bowl has a rounded base and flares at the neck with eight even ruffles along the rim. It has a satin finish and features a distinct pastel yellow rim with pink or peach coloration at the top fading smoothly to pastel yellow at the base. Under a blacklight, this bowl has a very strong glow. Burmese glass was developed by Frederick Shirley at Mt. Washington Glassworks in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1885. Measurements:  5 3/4" Diam x 2 7/8" H ~8 oz Condition:  Very good antique condition with no chips, cracks or damage. Normal wear for age. Please see all photos.
