Are you sure this is wool? I don’t see it anywhere on the label and it mentions about machine washing.

@myelmo352 yes, it it wool. I’ve added a new photo that zooms in on the fabric tag and highlights the exact composition. Apparently the collar is cotton/poly but the rest is 100% wool.

Also, washing normally is fine in cool water with wool, it’s the drying you want to avoid and this says no tumble dry.
