Murano Style Glassware Large Cobalt "Clear Crystal"

This beautiful neoclassical large Cobalt Vase was likely created by one of the main Italian glass companies who competed with the original Murano studios in Venice. It is likely post WWII Italian, made for the tourist trade that resumed after the catastrophes of WWII and rebuilding of Western European economies. The creation has a ruffled lip and ribbing. It is fairly light — about 3 lbs. — and carries light in a translucent Manner. The piece is about 13 inches tall and 9 inches at its widest point. It is a perfect accent piece and may well have actually served as a vase for floral arrangements. Excellent condition, no cracks or chips. one photo shows what to me looks like bubbles in the glass in the edge of one of the top ruffles.
