Museum Quality Custom Silk Reversable Christmas Tree Skirt Better than Frontgate

This tree skirt is genuinely one of a kind - custom designed, custom made here in the U.S. From start to finish -- the design, materials purchase, and sewing of this skirt -- took several years. It it made with heavy, high-end fabrics -- including pure silks. Fabrics, tassels, beading, rope edge etc. were all purchased pain-stakenly to match perfectly from a wide variety of decorator fabric stores. These types of heavy duty, high-quality fabrics are typically used in expensive upholstery and pillows. We worked together with a designer and a seamstress to come up with an unique, elegant, and timeless design. The skirt was then fabricated by the seamstress at a cost of $800 for the labor. The cost of the fabric, beading, and other materials was $600. Both sides are fully finished with hidden seams. The skirt was completed about 10 years ago. Given inflation, it would not cost less than $3000 to produce today. To a great degree, it would be impossible to duplicate this skirt today as truly high quality fabric and notions have become increasingly unavailable. We have used this under a 9 foot high Christmas tree. The skirt is about 90" across and would work for most large trees in the 7 - 11 foot range. It is in like new condition. This tree skirt puts the 'high-end' tree skirts on Frontgate to shame. Pictures do not do it justice. It belongs in a museum or an extremely elegant, high-end home. There is no other tree skirt on earth like this one. Period.
