As most of you know, I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell carcinoma that has metastasized to my lymph nodes. inoperable stage 3B neck cancer
Well I've waited a while to update everyone.
So here's the latest. as of Wednesday June the 26th 2024 I am still considered living with cancer. I am not in remission and I'm certainly not cured.
My ENT & Oncologist doctors have done all they can do at this point. I'm not considered a candidate for any more treatments for now.
Here is the GOOD news. I do feel better. I'm even doing Posh Live Shows. I have quite a bit of sickness but at least I'm giving Life my BEST Go.
as of October 30th all chemo and radiation have been completed yay!!!
I don't know quite yet if these treatments have cured me or not I'll find out on Jan 29th when the results of my PET scan come in. Fingers & Toes crossed
Well here's a update on my medical status
Seems My cancer is still present...
All of my Radiation and Chemo reduced my cancer but didn't get it all. Latest PET scan shows about a 40% reduction in tumor
.
Next update should be when I get the CT results in April.

Oh my word!! I am so sorry, but you strike me as a fighter. Prayers and hugs are coming your way and to all those who are on your team. I went through βtriple negativeβ breast cancer in 2022. Mine was only found metastasized to my lymph nodes, but the after-surgery biopsy said all was clear. I still have two trips a year for follow up testing. Hugs, Holly

Have you talked with MDAnderson? They can be miracle workers. Iβll tell you my story later. Hubby has a colleague who was diagnosed with some kind of stage 4 throat cancer. The friend went there, the doctor said he would not make any promises, but they would throw everything they had at it if they were willing. They said βgo.β I think that was about 15 years ago.

I went to MDAnderson, hubby insisted. I was diagnosed here, and Anderson confirmed it. Neither place ever found what I call the βorigin pointβ only the metastasized cells under my right arm. The surgery said all cancer was killed, and so far Iβm good. I did not need a mastectomy.

He went with me on all the trips in 2022, and told everyone he was my service animal and the only one who could keep me calm, then he would say βwoofβ. Brought smiles to many serious faces. I did radiation there and have been back for several follow up trips.

Oh goodness, you are certainly going through it. I admire your positivity. I mean that's all we can really do is make the best of each day and power forward. And I feel the fact that the prognosis isn't good. It really isn't in my case either, but we can hope and we can fight. Are you doing any alternative therapy? Just curious. If you ever wanna chat, I'm your girl. It's not easy out here sometimes a buddy that's going through similar is helpful. Sending love, light, and healing prayers.

@autumnleaves713 Thanks so much for your very kind note. I just saw this. I definitely need to check this flyer more often. I'm not going through any alternative or experimental cancer treatments. I watched my father died far too quickly with experimental Cancer treatments at Vanderbilt University.
honestly I'm just trying to live as long as possible with the best quality of life possible. so no more chemo no more radiation. I truly do thank you for your love and support

I have metastatic squamous cell carcinoma that has metastasized to my lymph nodes.
