victoriafer @missdpagan i believe they are hypoallergenic because im extremely allergic to dogs and cats (even though i own three big pitbulls & two cats lmao!) but for some reason these dont shed or cause any allergies. They are really easy to care for but they need ALOT of attention and play because at the end of the day these are 100% WILD cats and they will usually only be attached to one person and ignore everyone else but they wont be nasty to others

But my cat is very close to both my husband and I but much closer to me. She’s always next to me

victoriafer @missdpagan they are african servals and they spend their entire lives in the desert however when temperature drops they do just fine! They dont require any special care of that kind. However for their first year of life you will need to provide raw food (with bones attached) and extra suplements with calcium because their first year is crucial for their health and their offsprings health (if you plan to breed).

victoriafer @missdpagan The reason why calcium is important is because since they are so long tall and slender they can break their bones really easy when they are little.The first year of calcium is the most crucial after that you are just fine you probably wont even need to suplement anymore.

victoriafer @missdpagan another good option for feeding is just feeding them live mice once in a while to enrich their wild side. if you youtube it plenty of people do that. The best part is they are clean they will just swallow it with no mess 😂

victoriafer @missdpagan i plan to breed her maybe in december or possibly begining of next year so we both have lots of time! I just want to give her some time to acclimate to a new home and stuff. I got her when she was tinyyy she was about the size of a chihuahua and in less than 4 months shes outgrown my house cats by ALOT.

victoriafer @kels834 oh no she definantely knows me and she knows right from wrong! Surprisingly you can teach them things, hence why i said like a dog! She used to go in the bathroom and knock down and break all my razors but over time ive taught her not to do that and she hasent since!

victoriafer @kels834 you just have to be really paitient with them and not teach them things by being mean to them and screaming NOOOO. You just remove them from what they were doing and calmly say their name and no. She knows exactly when its foood time and where she has to go (inside the shower) if she wants food! They are really smart but they only really create a strong bond with 1 person. Everyone else is like “whatever” to them.

victoriafer @samiamatha i believe north dakota has some laws regarding them, you’ll probably need a permit! I can look into it! Her name is Nadia! When i got her she was very small, she was only two months old, the lady i got her from had a grandson who loved them he actually named mine and her sister sparkle and nadia, i think they are good with kids but you will need to keep an eye because they do get much bigger and they will swing at your face if you do something they dont like!

victoriafer @samiamatha But overall as long as you get a baby youll be fine! In florida where i live you do need a permit and that requires a large amount of land, and a cage constructed just for them. But since mine is so close to me she never sleeps out there shes always in the house with me. However ill be moving to alabama soon because im going to start breeding and i really dont want to get a permit for every single animal.

victoriafer @samiamatha There are some states like alabama that dont require any permit for wild cats! No matter what it is! Tiger lion serval bear, you can have anything with no requirements or permits! A good place to look for laws of your state is “big cat rescue”!

victoriafer @samiamatha if you do want one just prepare to have another “toddler”! They require a raw diet consisting of bones and meat grinded together and lots of attention! But overall whenever i have kids of my own i will definantely want them to have one of their own but id get them a cub ❤️ it definantely pays off because they are really smart and over protective with strangers! Its like owning a pitbull cat 😂 she doesnt like men though! 😂
