My beautiful mom just turned 84. She's my inspiration. She taught me how to paint, sew and make things rather than buy new, to make use of things others disgard. She was one of the original house flippers, before it was cool. She's a plumber, electrician, painter, artist, designer and master gardener. There's nothing she can't do. She inspired me to be independent and do things my way. Everything I make and create is because she inspired me to be the person I am. I love you, mommy.♥️♥️♥️

dotseyqueen Love this photo and love eady about you mom. I love her!!!! My family owned plumbing stores and I am a plumber myself! So was my mom!!! Electrical scares me though. Got to love tough beautiful women such as you and your mom!!! Oh what fun it would be to sit for a cup of coffee with the two of you!!! And @sandyrutter2017 Sandy too!!! doxiedog78 This is so sweet. My mommy is my best friend and I do everything for her now. At the end of the day they are always there for us. I love spending time with my mom and live to help her with whatever she needs, I owe her everything thus far :) <3 so I totally understand.

jazeebelle What an incredible woman! I'm lucky if I can turn on the TV without breaking the remote. My mom and her side are the artists in our family too. My mom taught me how to paint and do crafts as well. She used to teach cake decorating classes, was a master gardener, designed 3 houses that she and my dad built from scratch. She was never into making jewelry though, that's kind of been my own thing.

jazeebelle @cruelgirlarcher 😂 That's what my mom use to call "legitimate thievery." It was "thievery" because she took off with it, but "legitimate" because I knew she had it. LOL! And she used to say the same thing… Someday you'll all get it back and then some, but until then it's mine! Ha! I think our mamas would've gotten along.

cruelgirlarcher @bstbyjos my momma. she's still with me but doesn't do as much as she uses to. I'm grateful for everything she taught me even though when I was a young learner I found it boring. but she kept on me to learn.

jwnaturalstx @cruelgirlarcher totally agree! mine taught me sewing, leather smithing, bead work, macrame, crochet, knitting, needlepoint, painting with oils and acrylics, how to dress out rabbits and cure their hides. I've only hung on to maybe a quarter of all those hours of teaching bc like you said, she quickly lost my attention when all I wanted to do was go train with our horses.

iluvstuds Awww I’m glad I saw this on here today, it made me smile to see the love between you two like I had with my Mom. What I would do to have her here with me today.
